What a painting site needs

Before and after, same angle

Repaints sell on the change. Shoot each job from the same spot before and after, and we build your pages around it.

A page per job

Interiors, exteriors, roofs, strata and commercial each get their own page, because that's how people search.

Prep, explained

Nobody can see prep in a photo. Your pages say how you fill, sand, prime and protect, so a cheap quote doesn't look the same as yours.

No prices, just how you quote

Room sizes, wall condition and access change a quote. We explain that, never a figure.

How people choose a painter

Most painting is planned, so people look at a few painters before they ring one.

Homeowners

They search 'house painters' plus their area, then judge you on photos and reviews.

Sellers and landlords

A quick, tidy repaint before a sale or a new tenant. Speed and a clean site matter most.

Strata and property managers

Common areas and whole complexes, booked by a manager who wants insurance and paperwork sorted.

Builders

New homes and fit-outs, booked on turning up when you say and finishing on time.

Your pages talk to the buyers you want most, and your Google Business Profile puts you on the map for your area.

Your registration number, shown properly

In WA, paid painting work that reaches the painter value limit needs a registered painting contractor in Perth and the other areas the rules cover. Registered contractors have to put their registration number in their advertising, and your website counts. We put your contractor number in the top strip and the footer, checked on the WA licence search first. Paint brand accreditations and association badges go on too, but only while they're current.

Photos that sell painting work

Phone photos are fine. Here's what to shoot on your next few jobs.

  1. Before and after from the same spot, same time of day
  2. Close-ups of prep: filled cracks, sanded timber, primed patches
  3. Clean cut-in lines where walls meet ceilings and trims
  4. Drop sheets down and a tidy site at the end of the day
  5. The colour name and finish, written in the caption

Pages we'd build for you

A typical plan; yours depends on the work you want

  1. Home
  2. Interior painting
  3. Exterior painting
  4. Roof painting (if your registration covers it)
  5. Strata and commercial painting
  6. Repaints for sale or lease
  7. Prep and repairs
  8. Areas you work (real jobs only)
  9. About
  10. Contact

Questions painters ask us

Do I need my registration number on my website?

If you're a registered painting contractor, WA rules say your contractor number goes in your advertising, and your website counts. We put it on every page.

Can you show before and after photos?

Yes, and they're the best thing on a painting site. Take both from the same spot so the change is obvious.

Can my site say we're Dulux Accredited?

Only while you are. Tell us if it lapses and we'll take it down.

Should I list prices per room?

We don't. Room sizes and wall condition vary too much, and a figure online sets the wrong expectation. Your pages explain what changes a quote instead.
