What a fencing site needs

A page per fence type

COLORBOND® steel, pool, timber, picket, slat and gates are searched separately. Each one gets its own page.

Neighbours covered

A dividing fence has two owners. Your site explains how you quote and work when neighbours share the cost.

Pool fencing, explained

Pool owners worry about the council inspection. Your pool page says what standard you build to and what paperwork you hand over.

Show the finish

Long straight lines, neat gates and clean ground. Your job photos show what buyers care about.

No prices, just how you quote

Length, height, ground, old fence removal and access change the quote. We explain that, never a figure.

How people choose a fencer

Fencing is usually planned, and often two neighbours are deciding together.

Replacing an old fence

Leaning, rotten or old fibro. They search the fence type plus their area.

Neighbours sharing the cost

Two owners, one fence. They want it clear what the job is and who pays what.

Pool owners

A new pool or a failed inspection. They want a fence that passes.

Builders and developers

Boundary and front fencing on new builds, booked on who turns up and finishes.

Each fence type gets a page, and your Google Business Profile shows your work to people in the suburbs you cover.

What a fencing site shows

Fences don't need a WA builder's registration, so your trust comes from other things: your ABN, your insurance and your real jobs. Pool fencing has its own rules, so that page explains the barrier standard you build to and what paperwork you hand over. If you remove asbestos fencing, your WorkSafe licence number goes on too. If you automate gates, the mains wiring is done by a licensed electrician, and if that's you, your EC number goes on every page.

Photos that sell fencing work

Phone photos are fine. Here's what to shoot on your next few jobs.

  1. The old fence before you start: leaning, broken or fibro
  2. Long runs shot straight down the line, so the levels show
  3. Gates, latches and hinges up close
  4. Pool fences with the gate shut and the latch in view
  5. Both sides of a dividing fence, so neighbours see their side too

Questions fencing contractors ask us

Do I need a licence number on my fencing site?

Fences don't need a WA builder's registration. If you hold a licence for other work, like asbestos removal, we show it. Otherwise your ABN, insurance and job photos do the work.

Can my site explain sharing costs with neighbours?

Yes, in plain words, with a link to the official WA guide. We point people to the rules rather than give legal advice.

Can we call our pool fences compliant?

Only for fences you build to the pool barrier standard, with the paperwork to back it. We'd rather say what you hand over than use a word nobody can check.

Should I show a price per metre like other fencers?

We don't. Ground, height, old fence removal and access change it. Your pages explain what changes a quote instead.
